This home owner wanted a clean white kitchen. They loved the look of marble but were unsure that marble possessed the durability that their family needed. Knowing that the island would be the centerpiece of the the kitchen it made sense to use quartz. After all, it’s beautiful and as durable as it gets. Just what the family needed.
The countertops add a touch of contrast. Concrete colored tops make the cabinets pop and highlighted the veining deign within the quartz. The kitchen is beautiful, fresh and a welcoming gathering place.

Quartz is made from one of the hardest minerals on earth. They are arguably the most durable option for any countertop solution. The colors range from fire-engine red to apple green, earthy browns, blacks, and creams, with sparkles and veining for the look of granite or marble. It is stain & scratch resistant and never needs to be sealed.

We focussed on the island first. It seemed to be the most import aspect in the design. Cashmere Carrara was the perfect color and the perfect start to begin the project.
This island would become a tool for food prep, dining a family gatherings. We added a utility sink on the stove side for convenience.
